Yummy Nummies Mini Kitchen Magic Review

I had seen these Yummy Nummies products from Character at the Toy Fair this year and I was quite intrigued. Naturally when I was asked if I would like to review them, I said yes.

The Yummy Nummies are great for children who like to cook as it is really easy to do. All you need to do is mix powder with water to get something that is edible. How does it taste? Well, for that you will need to check out the video.

There are 3 products out at the moment – pizza, cookies and gummy candy.

Each food product kit comes with everything you need to make pizzas or cookies. All you need to do is add water and microwave it.

The children had lots of fun making and eating the pizzas and the cookies and they wanted more. I tasted the pizza and I have to admit that it tasted quite similar to margherita pizza, only a much, much smaller size.

As mentioned before it is easy to do. All you require is in the box including spoons and measures. The Pizza kit even had cheese powder with it for the topping.

The cooking time had to be adjusted as it did take longer than the given time. Perhaps it depends on the power of the microwave being used.

I have a small concern of how are these products so easy to cook but they are advertised as being 100 % natural. Anyway, the portions are so small that surely it cannot be a problem.

You have to remember that the product is not meant to be given to children as a meal. They are far too little in size. It is meant to be a cooking craft for children which is edible. It can be used as a snack but in my opinion it is more the idea of making it.

It is a great product for introducing children to cooking or if they want to cook things on their own. The only thing you need to help them with is the microwave.

The Yummy Nummies range is available exclusively at Toys R Us for the next 2 weeks.
