I quite like Beyoncé as a singer. She has amazing talent. I liked Destiny’s Child as a group too.
Beyoncé of course has some great songs and has been on some awesome tours. I’ve never been to a live gig – well not with any celebrities but I can imagine what it must be like to be there amongst fans and soaking in the atmosphere. I’d love to go to one.
My favourite Beyoncé tour would have to be the Dangerously in Love tour way back in 2003 which was controversial because of the criticism by The Guardian of her wardrobe. The gig at Wembley, was part of her debut world tour and also featured some songs from Destiny’s Child, the group of which she was a part.
I love the selection of songs as it included a great mix and was later even put on to a CD – Live at Wembley. Some of the songs I like are ‘Crazy in Love’, ‘Survivor’ and ‘Naughty Girl’. They must have been awesome performed live. Apparently, the show opened with her singing Baby Boy while being lowered onto the stage upside down.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to see it but I’m hoping that I’ll be able to go to the next one with my daughter in tow. 🙂
The gig is sold out of course. But if you’re a fan (and in Dublin or can fly there) then there’s some good news.
Chill Insurance has a #WinWithChill competition running in which you can win 2 tickets to Beyoncé’s new tour – The Formation World Tour in Dublin on Saturday 9th July.
