Valentine’s Day Photo Frame

Valentine’s Day – a day for love and chocolates and cards and gifts and…crafting.

The children are quite enthused about crafting. This is only the second box as part of the Bostik Craft Bloggers Club we have received but the moment one comes in they are brimming over with ideas. Some are wild and very complicated so I have to step in with an air of calm and get them to do something more traditional.

We received a box from Bostik for our February activity and it had to be about Valentine’s Day.

We decided to make a little photo frame where you can put a photograph in. I think it’s a lovely keepsake.

You will need –

  • Card
  • Coloured twine
  • Bostik Microdots

It’s really easy to do.

First, draw and cut out a heart shape on one side of the folded card. It’s a bit tricky and you may need to use a serrated knife to start off so it’s best that the adult does this part.

Cut out another piece of card the same size as the folded card.

Add the coloured twine to the outside of the card around the heart shape.

Place your picture below the heart cut out to fit into the shape.

Add the piece of cardboard below it and stick it together. We used strips of microdots and it was so neat.

Use Bostik glitter to decorate the photo frame.

Valentine’s Day won’t be complete without a card so we also made these easy cards –

You need –

  • Card
  • Decorations
  • Bostik Microdots
  • Bostik Glitter Pens

Stick your decorations on the card with the help of the microdots.

Use glitter to complete decoration.

Disclaimer: I received a seasonal crafting box from Bostik as part of the Tots 100/Bostik Craft Bloggers Club.
