Thinking Slimmer – how its working for me

I want to lose weight.

It has been on my mind for some time now and I would love to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight (before my last child I mean) – something that is really hard to do, I can tell you. Perhaps I need motivation or maybe I am just too lazy to get up and exercise. I like the easy way out which is – not eating. However, this also hasn’t worked and I found out that sometimes this has the opposite effect as ones body starts stowing fat to cope with the diet.

Anyway, when I got an opportunity to review Thinking Slimmer, I knew I had to give it a go. It sounded easy as I was told that all I needed to do is to listen to my Slim Pod every night for 9 minutes and I would begin to see changes.

I received a handbook and I was told to document my success every week. I have to say that I didn’t exactly start on time so I was about a week or two behind the actual time when I first received my Slimpod.

How does it work? There is a 9 minute podcast that I am supposed to listen to everyday. I was told it is preferable to do this every night before I fall asleep. I have been listening to it for two weeks now but I have not heard the full 9 minutes till date. I always seem to fall asleep around the 5 minute mark. I was told that this was not a problem as the subconscious carries on taking in the recording on the SlimPod.

I will tell you what though – even though I don’t listen to the entire SlimPod consciously I was pleasantly surprised to find myself refusing ice cream one day and it was a Champagne Magnum on a rather hot day. I didn’t pay much attention to it, until I found myself not really wanting dessert two days later and I do have a sweet tooth. These small changes have made me even more determined to carry on with the SlimPod for the entire 12 weeks to see the changes.

There are different Slimpods to listen to – drop two dress sizes, drop two jean sizes or a chocoholic cure.

I chose to drop a dress size and I will be getting back to you to let you know how I do.
