The Snowman and the Snowdog Jigsaw from Ravensburger Review

At this time of the year there is nothing better than getting together inside the warm house and playing games while sipping hot chocolate.

We love reading books together too and solving jigsaws.

The Snowman and the snowdog is a  lovely story so when we were offered a chance to review the XXL 100 piece jigsaw from Ravensburger, I thought it was a lovely idea.

What we really like about the Ravensburger puzzles is that they are of such a good quality and that the pieces only fit into the spaces they are meant for.

So, on Sunday we got together and brought out the puzzle.

The children then got together and solved it. They first did the edge and then they solved the rest in parts.

The puzzle is aimed at 6+ and I think that this is perfect for the age. Aeryn at 4 did manage to put together the snowman herself though.

It took the children a short time to put together and they really enjoyed it.

The completed puzzle sets the tone for Christmas with the snowman and Santa. It is rather lovely.

Jigsaws are great for developing motor skills and cognitive skills too.

It is priced at about £7.99 and it would make a perfect Christmas present.

Disclaimer: I was sent the above puzzle to review. All ideas and opinions are my own.
