What we thought –

The children liked the story but found it rather long and repetitive. Also since I read to all three together, I had to keep changing the name everytime.

I liked it because it worked and the children were asleep a little before the end of the story. The story itself is quite long about 20 minutes so you would need to keep that time in hand before bedtime. I did feel that the story did not flow but it is calming and the repeated use of words like sleep, yawn, tired, sleepy – does seem to lull one into a blissful sleep.

I liked the relaxing bit where you relax parts of the body. I’ve always done that myself and it’s always worked.

I think the book would also work as a great way of relaxing a child at the end or before a very eventful /exciting day.

The book is priced at about £12.99 and is available on Amazon
