I love coffee – some flavours more than the others but any type of coffee is normally welcome. Plus, I really need it to be able to keep up with 3 very energetic children.
Of course I love the Cappuccinos and the Lattes but someone up there must be smiling down on me as I was recently introduced to the Chococino and the Choco Caramel among a host of others.
I was sent a Nescafe Dolce Gusto Machine to review and I have to tell you I was over the moon. I could not wait to use it and the moment I took it out of the packaging – I…
Well, I made myself a Cappuccino.
Now, what I liked about the machine is that it is really simple to use. You literally cannot go wrong. Fill the water in the plastic tank at the back of the machine. Switch it on – wait for the green light at the side. Pop in the capsule, lower the bar to lock it in and then use the little switch to decide the strength and either press hot or cold and…. TA DA…..your coffee is ready. Oh yes, don’t forget to put a cup in to hold your coffee or there will be a whole lot of coffee on the kitchen counter.
It comes with 6 flavours to try so you don’t have to wait till you go to the store to try it out.
This little machine is amazing, I tell you.
Now onto the nitty-gritty stuff – well quite frankly, there is nothing that I don’t like about this machine.
What I like about it –
- It is a neat size so does not take up space on the kitchen top.
- It is super easy and needs absolutely no setting up.
- It has so many different flavours to choose from that suit almost everyone in the household. Just go to the Nescafe Dolce Gusto and I can bet you will want one of each. I did!
- It can make hot and cold coffees as well as teas (Oh Yum!!)
- It is affordable
What I don’t like –
I am doing more shopping for capsules and drinking more coffee.
What’s the verdict of the entire family –
The children love the machine and they love a Chococino every now and then. Jadyn says it looks like a penguin and it does and it’s really cute. A cute coffee machine that makes amazing coffees? What’s not to like?
Hubs loves the Lungo and the Americano flavours.
If you go to the Dolce Gusto Shop online, you will also be really pleased to see that there is free 2 -3 day delivery on purchases and this is perfect to get all your favourite coffees delivered to your home for free. You also get £10 if you register with the code given to you with the machine so that you can taste different flavours.
The capsules come in boxes of 8 or 16 servings and are £3.68 per box and the machine is priced at £99 so I think it is perfect for household use of small offices.
If you are looking for a coffee machine, I totally recommend this one. In fact, with Valentine’s Day around the corner, what could be a better present than this machine. It is even available in a lovely red colour.
Disclaimer – I was sent a Nescafe Dolce Gusto Machine for an honest review. This has in no way influenced my opinions.
