Two weeks back, we were very excited to be invited to the launch of the new Disney range of glasses from Specsavers.
It was held at Disney HQ so we were quite thrilled. Yes, I am still a huge Disney fan.
With Disney releasing some big films this year, it couldn’t be a better time to launch these lovely glasses for children.
The girls were obviously looking forward to seeing the new Disney film Cinderella in the theatre there and we had our faces painted and were served a lovely brunch.
We were also shown the new collection and now the girls both want to wear glasses! 🙂 I would too I guess if I was a child and had this amazing collection before my eyes.
The collection features glasses for both boys and girls. The girls’ range has Minni Mouse and all the Disney princesses. Aeryn is hugely into Aurora at the moment so she loved the Sleeping Beauty one.
For the boys, range consists of Star Wars and Avengers.
The glasses are rather trendy and they are made to fit little ones. I have been thinking of taking the children to get their eyes checked as they haven’t had theirs done. They are hoping that they may need glasses just so that they can pick a pair from this range. In fact, Jadyn asked if she can have a pair without any power as it looks so stylish. She also asked if Specsavers will be making sunglasses like these!
I can get where she is coming from as they do look ever so nice. Besides, they are really lightweight.
I needed glasses from young but hated wearing them as we never had anything so good looking.
The glasses are priced at £64 for kids and £85 for teens and free for under-16s as part of Specsavers’ NHS offer. Children can choose an additional free pair of frames in the 2-for-1 offer so they can alternate between being different Disney characters.choose a second pair from the £64 or £85 range, free. You can have both pairs with SuperTough Trivex® single vision lenses with a scratch-resistant treatment, or tinted prescription lenses and a UV filter free in the second pair.
The glasses will be available from 13th May.
We enjoyed the film and the event. We even had a visit from Mickey Mouse himself.
