As you must know from previous posts we are big fans of Aveeno. I love that I can use it for Ethan who suffers from mild eczema as well as for my hands which can get quite rough with all the washing etc. I know I should be using gloves but it can be a bit of a pain using it every single time I wash something.
I had written previously about the first book that Aveeno had published about dry skin and now Aveeno has launched their second book ” The Dry-ventures of Ellie and Eddie – Happy Skin Holidays” by Penelope Harper.
The book is the second in the trilogy and tells of Ellie and Eddie on holiday and how they remember to use cream for dry skin daily.
Going on holiday with children means you have to remember to pack everything that you need and things that you may not need but think you may too. We recently went to Cornwall and our car was full of bags and favourite toys and things to keep them busy when we were not at the beach or exploring. It’s like packing a bit of your home with you.
We enjoyed the book and the children were happy to hear about others who are faced with the same problem. They thought the song sounded a bit like a song they know. 🙂
You can download the book here
For us, it’s also important that we always pack our cream especially for Ethan and Aveeno is one brand that is taken everywhere. I have a tube of cream in my handbag always. I like it’s non-greasy feel and mild fragrance and of course it’s effectiveness at dealing with dry skin.
We were also sent a Go Pro camera to capture are “dry ventures” and I shall be writing all about it next week (It’s been a big of a struggle getting familiarised with the Go Pro). We’re planning on taking it out with us this weekend. With any luck, we won’t be having videos of constant rain!
Disclaimer: I was sent the book, a Go Pro and some cream to review and record my adventures. All ideas and opinions are my own.
