Star Wars Day at LEGOLAND Windsor Resort

It’s all about the Force today on my blog and boy was the force with us on Saturday. We were invited to Star Wars Day at LEGOLAND Windsor and we had an amazing time.

With one very excited ‘Luke’ in tow, we were up and about early and left at 7.30 am to get there on time. Let me just mention here that on a school day they have great difficulty getting out of bed at 7.30 am.

We were handed an excellent package with wristbands for fast track for rides, super Star Wars lanyards, LEGO loot to spend on food or retail and car park tickets too. Worth the early morning wake up!

We were then shown to the Star Wars Display where the children were handed sheets to fill in a quiz while they walked through.

The LEGO® Star Wars™ Miniland Model Display is AMAZING.

Ethan, being a HUGE, Star Wars and LEGO fan, finds this his favourite place and we normally walk through this twice on an visit to LEGOLAND.

The new Death Star is made from 500,000 bricks and the attention to detail is awesome.

We love that the models are interactive and Ethan could well spend the day there.

We were treated to breakfast while looking around.

Did I mention that this was an exclusive private viewing for media? Not trying to rub it in but…

Oh yes – we also got goody bags with LEGOLAND towels and buildable figures.

We then headed down to Miniland for the brand new show – ‘Open LEGOLAND with us’ and when we reached Miniland, we were in for a treat as the Star Wars characters were out in their glory and Ethan was in his elements. Even Jadyn who is not as huge a fan was caught up in the moment.

The opening show was fun with the Star Wars LEGO figures counting down to the official opening of the park.

And then we were free to go on the rides in the park with our fast track wristbands. What fun to beat the queues although I have to say that the queues were quite manageable.

The children went on their favourite rides –

Laser Riders, Atlantis, Fairytale Brook –

and this time we even tried some we hadn’t tried before –

We had an absolutely amazing day out and we went back with very tired but extremely happy children.

Thank you LEGOLAND Windsor for a beautifully organised day. We love being LEGOLAND Windsor ambassadors.
