A Spooky Delivery from Tesco

On Monday, we celebrated Halloween early. The children were super-excited as we had received this as a prelude the previous week. 🙂

But Monday set the tone for what’s to come at the end of the month. We were all set to receive a spooky delivery from Tesco but nothing prepared us for this kind of fun.

A VERY spooky van appeared in front of our home after school. The children were ready and were peeking out from the bedroom as we were asked to wait for set up.

And then…the door bell rang. And Frankenstein was waiting for us. Eeeeeekkk!

The children were invited to take some sweets from a crate only to have a hairy hand jump out at them.

The side of the van opened to reveal some very scary yet delightful goodies and the children were enthralled. (The neighbours were too)

Pumpkins, sweets, Halloween costumes, dancing ghosts and werewolf masks – all part of the look for Halloween from Tesco.

When Frankenstein went to open a door of the van, there was this creature trying to get out. (one of our neighbours did take off in a hurry!!)

The children, used to new experiences handled the tricks like pros but smiled broadly when they received their treats in our chosen goodies from Tesco as they knew what was in there for them. Armed with pumpkins, sweets and Halloween specials, they were sad to say goodbye to Frankenstein.

Thank you Tesco for making an otherwise dull day after school so much fun.

If you want to see exactly what we got in our Halloween Loot, you’ll have to wait until my next post about it. Till then, here’s a sneak peek –

Aren’t the costumes awesome?

The costumes are new for this year and are available with and a host of other Halloween tricks and treats at Tesco – Check out the range here
