“Sometimes humorous, sometimes terrifying, and always imaginative, this high-tech, interplanetary tale will keep you buzzing through page after page. You will never look at bees the same way!” —Val Muller, author of Corgi Capers: Deceit on Dorset Drive
Earth is attacked by massive alien Wasps and Bees who travel across eight light years with the vicious GENERAL VARD and his Black Watch in a ship called SpaceHive. The Wasps are on a mission to kill humanity and inhabit Earth. Earth’s future is in the hands of a 12-year-old boy named Jason Anderson, who is kidnapped by a friendly alien Bee from the SpaceHive while the vicious General Vard and new Queen decide his fate.
“Wickedly funny and brimming with satire—a strange and quirky twist on the science fiction genre that will leave you in stitches.”—Derrick Hibbard, author of IMPISH
Kenna McKinnon is a freelance writer and self-employed medical transcriptionist, occasional runner and boxer, and frequent walker. She lives alone in a high rise studio suite in the quaint neighborhood of Oliver in the City of Edmonton. Her most memorable years were spent at the University of Alberta, where she somehow managed to graduate with a degree in Anthropology despite the beginning signs of paranoid schizophrenia, at which time she self-exploded in public.
She has lived successfully with schizophrenia for many years and is now a senior woman, member of the Writer’s Guild of Alberta and the Canadian Author’s Association. She has had three wonderful children and three grandsons.
Kenna is the author of SpaceHive, a young adult sci-fi/fantasy novel; The Insanity Machine, a memoir with the latest research available at the time of writing; and DISCOVERY – An Anthology of Poetry, all released in 2012. All are available in eBook and paperback on Amazon worldwide.
