The top left picture is taken on Jadyn’s First Communion Day – She looked like an angel and I was a very proud mum.
The picture on the right is taken on Mother’s Day 2011 – I was expecting our third child and little did I know that I may have never ever seen her. You can read more about this here.
The picture in the middle is Jadyn’s 7th birthday. Am proud and happy to be alive with my 3 children.
The last picture is taken on Mother’s Day 2012 – we had gone to Richmond for the day.
My Mum was the most loving, gentle person I have ever known. When she passed away in 2012, I think she took a piece of me with her. She taught me everything I know about being a mum and the one thing that I have learnt from her is to enjoy my children. She was with us through thick and thin – laughing, crying, keeping us close and when required, even though it must have broken her heart, let us go. I hope that I have at least a little bit of her in me because then I know, I will be loved as much as the world loved her.
This Mother’s Day I miss her more than ever.
This is a post for ‘Mecca’s Mother’s Day Memories’ being run by Mecca Bingo where I could win a £250 Amazon voucher.
If you would like to enter –
All you have to do, is create a collage of family memories – ideally form past mother’s days, or treasured memories. It is entirely up to you how you do this, the more creative the better! 🙂 Within your post you could include the images and say why they are important to you, or perhaps what you were doing when you took these pictures, for example were you on a family holiday? Birthday celebration? Etc. What’s the story behind your memories? You could also explain what your mother means to you, or why you love being a mum.
The closing date for entries is 30th March 2014.
