We were sent this Expedition Tech Jacket from Scruffs to review and I must say that it has come in handy during the wet winter.
The part we like most is that it is truly waterproof thanks to the extra membrane or lining.
The hem, hood and cuffs are adjustable which ensures that there’ll definitely be no water getting through.
The 3M Thinsulate lining makes it perfect for cold weather.
It is also breathable to 10,000 grams.
Hubs likes the fact that it is lightweight but still keeps the rain and cold out.
It comes with a number of pockets which are handy for outdoors especially for workers working outdoors as you can keep tools etc in them. The pockets are also of a generous size.
I love the little torch that comes with the jacket and the fact that there is a pocket especially for it. When I say little – it is a little torch but it is extremely powerful and perfect for when out and about at night.
The jacket is black but the camouflage print inside the hood relieves the colour as do the orange tabs. It does look rather smart when on and not like a sole workman’s jacket. It can be used for treks and days out in the rain.
The jacket is priced at £84.95 and is great value for money.
