Schleich Riding Arena Review

The children love horses. No, we don’t have one nor do we ride but they love horses. Come to think of it, I do too. I love the freedom that horses seem to represent as they gallop in the fields. I would love to be able to ride and go for a gallop in the woods.

Anyway, back to the aim of this post. 🙂

We were sent this Schleich Riding Arena to review and I knew that the children would enjoy playing with it.

I had heard of the great quality of the Schleich products but had never purchased any for the children so I am happy to say that when I saw the product, I knew that what I had heard was right – the product is of a high standard.

The Schleich Riding Arena consists of  –

  • A paddock
  • A rider
  • A Horse
  • An arena
  • Jumps
  • Accessories – blanket, hay bale and carrots

On opening the box, you notice immediately the good quality. The Arena has working windows that can open and shut.

The paddock is easily set up and is fun for the kids to do. You can create different shapes with it too and use it without the arena.

The horse is really quite lovely and I love the attention to detail. The saddle is removable as are the reins.

When you are not putting the horse and rider through the paces, remove the heavy saddle and reward your horse with a warm blanket and carrots.

The arena can be used with other sets from the Farm Life range from Schleich. It is great for imaginative play and the children enjoy playing with it.

It is aimed at children aged 3+.

Priced at £24.99, I think it is great value for money as it has so many playing options and is of such a good quality.

Disclaimer: I was sent the above product for an honest review. All ideas and opinions are my own.
