Review: Mighty Meals from Organix

Little Aeryn is 2 and she eats what we all eat – except of course if it is spicy.

She loves eating pasta and having soups so when we got an opportunity to review some toddler meals from Organix, I was very pleased.

We received –

Pasta Shells and Vegetables

Spaghetti with Pork and Bean Meatballs

Pasta and Chicken in a Rich Veg Sauce

and three soups –

Hearty Root Veg and Beans

Tasty Sweet Corn and Vegetables

Tangy Tomato and Pasta

These meals (and I think the term definitely applies here as they are a good quantity) are really handy if you are feeling like not cooking or have cooked something spicy. They are also great to have when out and about as all you need do is heat it up.

I often worry about pre-prepared foods for children as one never knows what is in them. I was comfortable with Organix firstly because I know from experience that it is such a great brand and with their NO JUNK promise, I know I am giving my child food that is free from nasties.

The quantity in each meal was quite substantial and sufficient for a little one. A was not too fond of the Hearty Root Veg soup but she did eat a little bit of it and then did not want any more. She enjoyed the rest of the meals though.

Of course A’s favourite was the Spaghetti and I do admit that I quite liked it too. There is no salt added to the products, like all other baby foods so because A eats normal food at home, I needed to add a bit of salt for taste.

I now always have a few at home in case I need to make up something really quick.

Disclaimer: I was sent the above meals to try out with my child. All ideas and opinions are my own.
