We were recently sent the Qixels Kingdom Castle Playset to review and this was a perfect start to half term.

87028 Qixels Kingdom Castle Attack

The Qixels playset is different to the normal Qixels sets as in it comes with a castle. The castle is in parts and you need to set it up.

Qixels, if you didn’t already know are the award winning brand brought to you by Character Options. It features little pixelated cubes that when fused together with a spray of water, allows children to create a 3D world.

This particular playset has over 1000 cubes and you can create a troll, dragon or a knight. Of course, this doesn’t mean you have to stop there as you can give in to creativity and make you very own medieval figure.

Ethan had a great time creating these figures – the knight and the troll.

The set is perfect for following instructions as well as imaginative play which is so important in the lives of children.

I love the Qixels too as they involve no mess as there is no glue or heat to be used. Character Options has quite a few other products in the range which include –

Qixels 3D Maker – Once they have mastered the technique of Qixels children can take their designs to the next level with the 3D. There are a variety of 3D characters to create including aliens, bugs and jungle characters. (RRP £24.99)

Theme Packs – There are so many cool designs to create including Dinosaurs, pirates and even monsters! Once created, these pixelated characters can be used as individual toys to play with or make great a bedroom decoration. (RRP £9.99)

Mega Refill Pack – The fun is as endless as your child’s imagination with the Qixels refill pack, the pack includes 1500 cubes including 750 glow in the dark cubes (RRP £12.99)

This particular playset is priced at £29.99 and is available in all major toy stores.
