Project #365 – Week 6: Days 32 – 38

That’s one month of the year gone. Wherever does time go?

That also means that I have consistently been posting my weekly link to Project #365. Yay!

Day 32

Jadyn loves sushi so today we took ourselves off to Yo!Sushi in Westfield for a treat. We had received some vouchers when we had been to see Big Hero 6 so we used those and got free kids’ meals worth £7 each.

Day 33

The children have been after us to have a carpet picnic so today Hubs picked up some items on his way back from work and we had the much overdue picnic. The kids enjoyed it and so did we (there was wine!!)

Day 34

Finally, we had a smattering of snow. It lasted on the walk to school but was all gone by 11am. I don’t really like walking to and from school in the snow.

Day 35

I was invited to the Next Press Show in London to showcase their SS15 collection. A great selection of clothes and home products. And I came away with a great goody bag too!!

Day 36

I was sent a rather lovely hamper with goodies from Nescafe Dolce Gusto. Was able to make this Cafe-worthy Capuccino for Hubs. Hoping to be woken up with a cup like this on Valentine’s Day. I’ll also know if he is following my blog. 🙂

Day 37

Today we received this amazing box of Valentine themed cupcakes to review. They look amazing don’t they? And they tasted delicious too.

Day 38

We took a much overdue trip to visit my uncle in Horsham and passed some lovely places on the way.

  1. Lucky you getting invited to the Next Press Show. I worked for them for 4 years in the 1990s. Love your carpet picnic. I am always reading about those on Mummy Daddy Me. Such a great idea, especially with this weather. I adore sushi. You have made me hungry with that one. Love this #Project365 such a great way of archiving memories and looking back at photos on the hard drive doesn’t have the stories and memories attached in the same way as having a blog post to go with it xx

  2. I have never tried Sushi it is definitely on my to-do list though. carpet picnics are fab. OMG those cupcakes looks delicious as does the cappuccino. I don’t mind the snow so much it is the black ice I really don’t like. Looks like you have had a fab week. x
