As part of being a LEGOLAND Ambassador, we were invited to an exclusive celebrity event on the 2 weeks ago. We had a lovely time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
We were invited to the premiere of the New 4D LEGO Movie – A New Adventure and it was great fun.
We had been given VIP passes for the day and the children felt quite important wearing it round their necks. Plus, since it ensured that we didn’t have to queue for anything, I was pretty thrilled too.
The 4D experience was fun and we enjoyed it. I think the children also identified quite a many celebrities and I must say I was chuffed to be rubbing shoulders with them. We felt quite important. If you’ve not been to the 4D experience, it’s a 3D movie show with special ‘4D’ effects like snow and party poppers. It’s about Risky Business trying to control Emmet and friends and get them to do his bidding. I’m not saying more but the short 12 minute show is funny and entertaining.
If you visit LEGOLAND, don’t forget to watch it. It is worth queueing up for.
Since we were given free rein to the park, the children enjoyed their favourite rides – Atlantis, L-Drivers, Laser Riders and Fairytale Brook, where Aeryn finally managed to get on. (She’s always been asleep for this one -don’t know why!)
The rides are great and there are so many targetted at different age groups so it’s well worth visiting.
Ethan loves the Star Wars themed area.
We were treated to an awesome lunch at the LEGOLAND Bricks Hotel and after all the walking around the children ate well. It helps that the restaurant is LEGO themed and there are colouring pages and crayons to keep children occupied. There was a good range of finger food and salads and yummy desserts.
The children were also treated to a goody bag.
The staff inside the park are friendly and were helpful when we asked for directions.
We had an amazing time and it is great to know that ‘Everything is (Still) Awesome’ at LEGOLAND Resort Windsor.
