My children have been smiling a lot lately. They have been invited to some rather lovely events and have been greeted with some amazing deliveries.
I’m not smiling as much because I have to do all the writing that follows. Just kidding.
I love my work and I love to see my children smiling. But then, who doesn’t?
There are some children who may not be smiling as much this year with the reasons being numerous.
Duracell, is a big part of Christmas as it powers toys and games on Christmas Day bringing smiles to everyone.
This year Duracell is joining Mel C, who brought many a smile to young people’s faces with her singing, in the Powering Smiles Campaign.
For every #PoweringSmiles shared on Facebook or Twitter Duracell will make a donation to Barnardos to be spent on their life-changing sensory services and provide toys for children living in poverty or facing other challenges such as caring for a loved one who is ill.
It doesn’t take much. But it will mean much.

Disclaimer: I was under no obligation to write this post. I think this is a lovely campaign and I would love to bring a smile to many a face this Christmas.
