Peppa Pig:My First Cinema Experience Review

On Saturday morning, we were up early to attend the exclusive screening of Peppa Pig:My First Cinema Experience.

Aeryn is a huge Peppa fan. From very young, she was stuck on Peppa Pig. It waned a little and then recently she started watching the videos again. So, she was thrilled at attending. We attended the fun in the foyer and got to meet Peppa and George as well as sample some tasty Peppa Pig cookies and cakes.

Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience is NOT a movie. I don’t think it would work that way anyway as toddler attention spans may not allow for this. Instead it is more an interactive experience which is an hour long.

You have Peppa and George and their friend Sophie (who’s really perky) in a home environment for the interaction and then there are 9 episodes (all new). The episodes are interspersed between the interactive elements with Sophie and Peppa and George.

In the episodes, Peppa visits London where she and the class is driven around the sights in a double decker bus by the Queen. There is also a four part episode of Peppa’s visit to the outback.  Of course, the joke’s always on Daddy Pig.

The interactive elements are also fun with songs like the Hokey Kokey and Wheels on the Bus being sung so children in the audience can join in.

It is indeed a treat for Peppa fans.

There are also some new characters introduced like Policeman Panda (David Mitchell) and Mrs. Crocodile (Jo Brand).

It is about an hour long and will be perfect for toddlers this Easter.

We enjoyed it – yes, even the older ones.

Peppa Pig: My First Cinema Experience will be released nation wide on the 7th of April 2017.
