If you’ve noticed, I have been making pancakes galore. According to the children, you can never have enough pancakes. True! You can have them sweet or savoury and for almost any meal including dessert. Don’t you love crepes and ice-cream? I do!
To help me with trying out different pancakes, I have been sent out some rather lovely products to review.
My children love Maple syrup so when I had an opportunity to review Clark’s Maple syrup, I knew I would be whipping up pancakes again.
So, this morning saw me making these really easy Scotch Pancakes for the children to drizzle with Maple syrup. Nothing like a sugar rush before the school run!
We love pancakes and maple syrup and the Clarks maple syrup made the pancakes even more delicious. The syrup is sweet (as it is supposed to be) but not overpoweringly so (which is good). The easy to pour bottle is great for little hands so I left the children to get on with it while I served up some more.
Obviously they went to school very full and very happy. 🙂
I am going to try using the Maple syrup in some of my other recipes for main meals so do come back and visit to know how I got on. And if you have a recipe with Maple Syrup, do leave a comment below as I would love to try it out.
Clarks Maple syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for upto 8 weeks so it can be used for several dishes and does not go waste.
Disclosure: I was sent Clark’s Maple syrup and a voucher to pick up a few ingredients to help write the post. All ideas and opinions are my own.
