Our Sambucol Back To School Party with Tryazon

With the children being back at school for the new school year, there are a lot of things I have to worry about – homework and lunches to name a few. The most important thing though is keeping them healthy so they can get through the year without missing important school days.

I was chosen to host a Samcuccol Party with Tryazon and this was the perfect opportunity to gear up for the new school year.

I had heard of the elderflower and the elderflower cordials are a hot favorite in our home, but I had not heard about the elderberry. So, it was great to be able to read up on the benefits of this fruit.

Sambucol Elderberry provides a strong immune support. Black elderberry has twice the natural antioxidant capacity of blueberries and more than 50% the overall antioxidant capability of cranberries.

Our party started by us sharing healthy options for lunch boxes – wraps were a favourite as were fruit and homemade meals like salads and pasta. In fact my children love having pasta for lunch and one favourite is a simple garlic one that can be eaten cold or warm. I do give them a lunch box that keeps the food warm so we can arm them with healthy lunches everyday.

I had prepared these healthy wraps with avocado and chicken and they went down a treat.

No one can deny the benefits of fruit – 5 a day?

We also discussed the importance of water and staying hydrated during the day. My children love a bit of cucumber and lemon in their water.

Our party pack consisted of  –

Sambucol Original Black Elderberry Syrup

We had a great time at our party and our guests went away with some handy sample packs of gummies too.

Here’s a short video that I shared on the day too, to get my guests acquainted with the Sambucol range –
