I know its Christmas when the words ‘cake’ and ‘decorations’ and ‘Panto’ feature widely.
I am feeling quite Christmassy now and realise that there is lots to be done to make it perfect.
I love the ideas of Pantos as Christmas and I was thrilled to receive an invitation to attend the Cinderella Panto – with an eBay twist. Now, I am sure you and almost everyone are familiar with ‘eBay’ and I am sure you must be also wondering what the two have in common.
Without spoiling anything, I will give you a sneak peek into the Pantomime. It is obviously about Cinderella and I am sure that I don’t need to relate that story to you. However, during the Panto, you get an opportunity to do a little present shopping on a tablet which will be provided to all adults. At the end, you will receive an email telling you of all the choices made so you can just go ahead and make your purchases. A brilliant idea.
I think some of the best gifts are bought on the spot when you can see the products available and just picture the person in your mind’s eye.
Coming back to the Pantomime – I saw 15 minutes of it and I was left wanting more.
eBay’s ‘Cinderella: A Fair-Retail’ is designed to help inspire shoppers struggling to find the perfect gift by bringing the festive spirit forwards. eBay’s quintessentially British Christmas Panto with a twist will see the ever-helpful Fairy Godmother (played by BAFTA nominee Buffy Davis) save the day not only for Cinders, but also for all the Christmas shoppers in the audience, who can shop via a tablet (provided) loaded with gift inspiration.
Tickets for the show on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th are priced at £6 and all proceeds will be donated to the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust, a charity dedicated to young people undergoing treatment for cancer.
The show is totally worth it. Great Panto laughs, lovely music – and the eBay twist! I couldn’t wait to book my tickets and I have. Click here to book yours. You don’t want to miss this.
