Ever since this arrived in the post we were looking forward to the day. We were amongst the first few to enter the spanking, new Nickleodeon Store at Leicester Square in London.
It is AMAZING!
We headed off early – like quite early – to get into London for 9 am.
And it was so worth it.
We were first treated to a lovely breakfast at Muriel’s Kitchen. I mean, a really nice breakfast – milkshakes and hot chocolate etc.
And then – we entered the store to be greeted by Dora – no less!
The store is wonderfully decorated in true Nickleodeon style with different areas that reflect scenes from the various Nick Jr. and Nickleodeon series. We loved the Imagination Tree in Dora’s area and had fun trying to pop the bubbles where Spongebob resides.
The store has a lot of lovely products -clothes, toys, lunch boxes and water bottles.
I love the clothing lines – this one is one of my favourites.
The ground floor is dedicated to exclusive products that are particular to London as you can see.
There are also these iPads where children can log on and access Nickleodeon and Nick Jr. Apps which are very exciting.
The children were kept occupied making hats (under 6’s) and a treasure hunt (over 6’s) and they ended the fun with a very exciting game of Pass the Parcel.
We had a wonderful time and walked off with very heavy, loaded goody bags. And yes, the wonderful organisers also thought of a snack pack for the children on the way home.
It was a wonderful event and we are really privileged that we were invited to attend.
The Nickleodeon Store London is open to customers and I definitely recommend that you go and take a look around. There is something for everyone. I am sure that I’m going to be visiting some time soon again, if my children have anything to do with it.
