New Style Boutique 2: Fashion Forward Review

This game caused Jadyn to scream with delight. 🙂

She wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up so when she heard we were offered a review of New Style Boutique: Fashion Forward for our Nintendo 3DS, she was over the moon.

The game is really interesting and she is on it quite a bit but her excuse is that she has been creating styles for my post. Can’t fault that!

She created 6 different styles for me for different occasions.

Evening Wear – trip to the theatre

The game is pretty much about styling but it has so much more that you can do with it. Putting together different styles -inners, outers, accessories can take a lot of time and effort to get the look right (or so I am told).

I have been watching Jadyn on the game – pretty much because I don’t get a look in myself. What you need to do is choose from different pieces of clothing that are available and put together an outfit. You can then display it on the catwalk and also get a chance to do make up and hair. Now isn’t that what every girl wants?

You talk to potential customers and create a look according to their specifications. They then get to try on the outfit you’ve chosen for them.

You can save your look with the help of the mobile phone icon which makes saving all the more fun.

The game is great fun and helps to give in to creativity as well as make one aware of listening to instructions and getting the look right.

Looks like I need a new wardrobe!

Here’s the official video of the game –

The game is available at all major retailers and is priced at £29.99
