We’ve been playing with Nerf blasters for a while now and this time Ethan was over the moon to have the latest Nerf N-Strike Elite Accustrike RaptorStrike to review. That is a mouthful, isn’t it? Well, for a blaster this size, it’s purely normal.
This Nerf blaster is massive and is probably far to big for Ethan. Perfect for me though. I am a pretty good shot.
The blaster comes with 18 darts designed for greater accuracy. It has two dart clips that can hold 6 darts in each. The bipod that is included with it can be removed and ensures a steady hand while shooting the darts.
The pop up sight helps you aim at the target effectively.
When you take it out of the box, you need to assemble the bolt to load the blaster. This is easily overlooked so be careful to take the bolt out as it comes in two pieces. You need to fit this in for the blaster to work.
It’s easy to put the clip in but to take it out you need to pull the bolt backwards and then press on the front trigger to unload it.
To shoot the darts you need to move the bolt fowards and backwards. Then take aim and shoot. Since it shoots so well, you’ll find that 6 darts are not quite enough and you need to keep refilling the clips. There is a handy storage area for the second clip too.
We had great fun competing to see who could hit the most targets after we set up some plastic cups.
The great part is that it is fine for use both indoor and outdoor and will make the perfect blaster for a Nerf battle.
Priced at £49.99, it is a quality product and looks very durable. Definitely recommended for Nerf fans. And if you aren’t one, you’ll definitely be one after you receive this.
