There are some emails that I love receiving. This was one of them! It informed me that I had been chosen to be a Panasonic Brit Blogger and invited me to attend an event at Panasonic HQ. YAY! Added to this, it was an event for adults only and while I love going out with my little one in the pushchair, I love the outings I have when I am alone.
I love taking photos of any and everything and ever since I began blogging I look to take even the most unlikely scenes in case I need them for my posts. (like the one of a crowded car park!!)
I boarded the train to travel to Bracknell to be given insight into Panasonic with special attention to imaging. I was really excited and looking forward to it.
On arrival at Panasonic HQ, I was quite pleased to meet the other bloggers in my group as we all seemed to be enjoying ourselves from the word ‘go’.
We were given a brief history of Panasonic by Fiona, the in-house imaging expert and she also gave us tips on how to take better photos. We were then shown different cameras that have been launched recently and some that are going to be launched this year. We were allowed to have a little play with them and look at their features. There really was a lot to take in. Panasonic does have so many clever innovative ideas of how to make life easier and better. I love this as I am always looking for the same thing in life. J
Fiona was brilliant and knows so much about cameras and camcorders. There was so much information she shared with us regarding all the different cameras.
I thought the cameras were brilliant especially the one that has a 60x zoom. Imagine the possibilities!
During lunch, we were shown into the Panasonic museum and I thought it was fantastic to see products from yesteryear.
I especially loved the cameras that had the flip screen so you can use it for selfies!! We learnt about compact cameras, bridge cameras and tough cameras that can be dropped (accidently of course) which would be brilliant when your child wants to take a photo.
I think the Panansonic Image App which can be downloaded on your mobile device is awesome as it lets you control the camera remotely.
And how is this picture of the loo relevant? No, I did not spend the better part of the day in it! I was surprised to know that Panasonic even manufactures these loos and it is not ordinary – the seats are heated and everything is electronically controlled.
I am really excited to be a Panasonic Brit Blogger and I look forward to learning much this year and sharing it all on my blog with you.
We have a really group of bloggers and we all got on so well that where we were supposed to finish at 2pm – we finished at 4 pm.
