Logo Grab from Drumond Park: A Review

This is the perfect time to stay in and play board games. It’s cold outside and during the Christmas season most parents take their annual leave. Family visits can also be made more entertaining by taking out a board game for some fun.

I was sent Logo Grab from Drumond Park to try out and we love playing it.

This game is really easy to play.

All you need to do is lay out a 3 x 3 grid of cards.

The youngest player picks out four dice from the bag.

The dice are lettered and not numbered.

If you see a letter on the dice that matches any of the cards on the grid, you ‘grab’ the dice. (Not the card)

If the dice rings, you lose a card. If it doesn’t, you get the keep the matching card.

Once you have collected 2 sets of 3 cards, you win.

Sounds easy? It is and loads of fun. Only thing, the bell rings quite often, even though only two of the eight dice have bells in them. Must be just my luck.

The game is fast paced and induces loads of giggles and a lot of grabbing. Fastest fingers first? And you also need to be  good spotter. 🙂

The game is recommended for children aged 8+ years but my 6 year old enjoys playing it too and he is quick to match the letter to the logo. Great for letter recognition as even my 3 year old tries to match the alphabet.

It can be played by 2 – 4 players or teams (if you have the extended family over). Since it involves cards and dice, it is also super easy to take with you for an overnight stay or sleepover.

Priced at £14.99, I think it is a very fun game and a great way of getting the family together.

If you like the sound of this game, grab your chance to win one on Day 8 of my 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway.  (Ends 18th December 2014)
