The children love Littlest Pet Shop and they have a lot of Littlest Pet Shop toys and playsets. It was a given that when I was asked if I would like to review the new Littlest Pet Shop DVD, I would say yes. Besides with the summer holidays on, it would provide them with some added entertainment.
The Story
Blythe Baxter and her dad Roger move into a new apartment in Downtown City above the Littlest Pet Shop. Remarkably Blythe discovers that can she can speak to the animals that live in the Pet Shop and beg her to help them save the Pet Shop from going out of business.
Blythe races against the clock to save the Pet Shop, not only for her new furry friends but also for the Pet Shop’s eccentric owner, Mrs. Twombly. Using her talents as a fashion designer Blythe organises a fashion show featuring the animals modelling her original designs.
Can Blythe’s fashion flair save the business? Find out as Littlest Pet Shop- Little Pets, Big Adventures is now available on Digital Download and DVD.
Our Review
The children loved watching the DVD and they sat glued to it for the entire period. I quite enjoyed watching it with them too. Aeryn loved that the pets talk and sing. And she said she didn’t much like the ‘naughty girls’. Both girls loved the fashion show.
The DVD has 7 episodes –
- Blythe’s Big Adventure – 1
- Blythe’s Big Adventure – 2
- Bad Hair Day
- Gailbreak
- Penny for your Laughs
- Mean isn’t your colour
- Russell up some fun
They love the character Blythe and I love the fact that she is kind and wins against the mean girls in the end. The characters are really adorable.
