Last week, we were invited to Warner House in London for an exciting event – an exclusive screening of LEGO Friends – Girlz 4 Life.
The girls were excited as we had been to the cinema there before and it’s a lovely screening room.
What’s the Story?
Join Olivia, Stephanie, Emma, Mia and Andrea, as they learn about friendship, fame and pop star fun in Heartlake City. This is the first ever feature length film from the hugely popular LEGO Friends franchise.
In LEGO FRIENDS: GIRLZ 4 LIFE, the girls’ friendships are tested when mega pop star Livi arrives in Heartlake City. When our friends’ hit song “Girlz” is stolen by Livi’s manager, they must devise and execute a plan, and fast. As Livi gains more fame and recognition from the new hit single, the girls try to share the truth behind the song in hopes that Livi will do the right thing.
As the girls try to tell Livi about her latest hit single, they all learn that fame isn’t everything and sometimes friendship is the most precious thing in the world.
What did we think of it?
We loved the film as it taught a lot about friendship. I especially liked the bit that showed that stardom isn’t all that it appears to be and that sometimes stars are ordinary people like you and me looking for a normal life.
There are some lovely songs too and the main one that seems to have stuck in our heads as we keep humming it. 🙂
Since we’ve been to the screening, we have watched the film on DVD twice over and I’m sure we’ll be watching it many more times over half term.
The DVD is releasing today and if you have LEGO Friends fans at home, don’t miss it.
