What would I do if I won the lottery? Let me change the ‘If’ to ‘when’. It just somehow seems more positive. And given that there’s a huge Euromillions jackpot up for grabs, positive sounds good.
Now what I would do with the Lottery money would be dependant on how much I would win. Obviously I would ensure that my family is taken care of. So my children and a few generations would be provided for and when I say this I mean they would not want for money.
I would also share some of my spoils with my extended family and friends so they would be able to pay off mortgages etc. and perhaps invest in projects that they may want to. Or basically do what they want with it.
Personally, I would love to own my own restaurant. Somewhere swish. Serving amazing food. With a chef that understands tasty food. Wholesome food. Comfort food.
Then I would travel – round the world. To places I’ve always wanted to visit and do things I’ve always wanted to do. Meaning that I would start ticking off my bucket list. I’d love to visit Egypt and the pyramids, the Great Wall of China, Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls and the list goes on. It will be a long time before I’m back in the UK surely.
But yes it would be nice to be able to visit these places and not worry about money to spend while there.
I’ve often wondered if people who had tons of money ever got up in the morning and decided that they would be spending the day in a different country – on a whim. What fun to be able to do that. On the occasions that I’ve gone to drop family off at the airport, I thought it would be amazing to look at the departure board, pick a random place and buy a ticket to fly there. Once…just once. I’d have to win the lottery to do so.
Here’s my Lottery Travel List. Can you identify all the places I want to visit?
