Garden furniture from Primrose – A Review

It was all very exciting to be moving into a house from a flat especially for the children. For me the excitement was hugely toned down to the fact that I had to move. Moving meant packing and packing up a home is not a great job.

But for all of us the one thing we were looking forward to was the garden.

It’s still summer – well, sort of so it will be great to be able to sit out in the garden. But hang on – where do we sit?

We could take a picnic blanket out and have a picnic. But with creepy crawlies out in plenty, it’s probably not a great idea.

Thankfully the lovely people at Primrose came to my help.

I was sent this lovely garden table set to review.

With 6 chairs it is the perfect starter set for any garden and it is a complete set as it also comes with the umbrella.

The Hectare Mallory 6 seater set comes with a table with a steel frame and a tempered glass table top. It looks rather lovely.

The chairs are made of Polytex black material that is strong and durable and it can carry a weight of upto 110 kg. The chairs are perhaps more suitable for lounging rather than having a meal out (you would have to sit forward) but they are very comfortable. They can be folded easily for storage to make place in the garden. Ours of course, never are. We leave them out. I shall update the post in a few months to let you know how they weathered. Though they are lightweight, they are quite sturdy.

The table is not too large but perfect for a smaller garden. It is easy to set up and when up looks really nice. The children wanted to have lunch outside immediately.

The parasol is easily fixed in the ground and it covers a good part of the table providing shade in the hot sun (whenever it makes its appearance)

And at the reduced price of £69, it is very good value for money.

Disclaimer: I was sent the above product for review. All ideas and opinions are my own and have in no way been influenced.

Update: I have had this product for over 3 months now and it has weathered well. There are no signs of rust or paint peeling and that’s what you look for in garden furniture.
