The children love dogs and have been nagging me to get one for ages. Since I know that a puppy means a lot of added responsibility that none of them are likely to take on, the best I can do is give them lots of dog toys. No, not the ones meant for dogs but the ones that are dog themed.
One such toy is Dozy Dogs.
This is such a cute concept. You have 3 dogs in the pack and you need to colour them as you like and create a bed for each one.
The dogs are adorable and they are perfect for children who like craft.
The beds are made of felt and they are really easy to make. The bit connect easily to form little beds for each dog and then you can decorate these further with the help of the stickers provided. Each dog also comes with an eye mask and there is a little cape for one of them.
The kit contains 3 flocked dogs in different sizes, felt pens, stickers and felt sheets to make the beds.
I like that the set is mess free as there is no need for glue. Also there is no scissors required so it’s safe for younger children.
Aeryn is 5 and she enjoyed making beds for the dogs. Since they are small in size they can also be added to other doll play sets.
It is priced at £12.99 and I think it is good value for money. The Fuzzikins Dozy Dogs set is from Interplay and also comes in a Cozy Cats version for cat lovers.
