Flush Force – The New Collectibles from Spinmaster : Review

My son put his hand down the toilet this morning…and I couldn’t stop him as I wanted to see what was in there!

Don’t panic. It was just so we could find out which Flush Force Character we had.

There are the new collectibles from Spinmaster and they’re called the Flush Force.

Now it may sound gross (well it did to me) but I had to remember that these are toys and the kids love them. Once you reveal them, they are not so gross and look quite cute. I don’t believe I’m saying this.

We received the following –

Number 2 Pack (£2.99) – which contains a toilet and two flushies.

Filthy Five Pack (£5.99) – which contains a toilet and 5 flushies.

Bizarre Bathroom Pack (£10.99)- this contains 8 flushies and 2 toilets.

The Collector Toilet/ Collector Bowl (£14.99) – This came with 4 exclusive Foul Floater Flushies.

There are 150 mutant creatures to collect.

But hang on…I forgot the main part. You need to put your hand down the toilet into green slime. My son loves it.

So what you need to do is put some water into the toilet tank and shake it up. Then peel off the cover of the toilet bowl and reveal your Flushies.

The names are also awesome with ours being called Fever Beaver, Awesome Possum, Dung Digger to name a few.

Ethan quite enjoyed getting his hands dirty for this one. It was a huge hit as he wanted to see which ones he had. He now has quite an awesome collection of toilet mutants.

If the water changes colour, then you have a rare Flushy on your hands. Each Flush belongs to its own group and has a special finish.

The Collector Toilet can store about 50 Flushies and it does make gross sounds when you turn the handle. Another enjoyable feature.

I can understand why children would love this. I know from personal experience that some children have a fascination with the toilet. I remember when Ethan was about two, he started making a beeline for the toilet to throw things into. We nipped it in the bud by ensuring the door was securely locked after he threw one of Jadyn’s toys from her shopping basket into the toilet bowl. Have you ever tried beating a toddler with intent? Bet you’d lose.

The Flush Force also make for an opportunity to talk to children about germs and bugs and how important it is to wash one’s hands after using the toilet.

I have to leave you with this one –

What did one toilet say to another? You look flushed!
