If you have a toddler or pre-schooler, you may be familiar with Bing. Bing is a relatively new series on CBeebies which tells the adventures of a pre-schooler Bing and how he copes with new experiences. His guardian Flop helps him through his problems and teaches him caringly how to handle tantrums.
We were recently sent some Bing products from The Entertainer to review – Fisher Price Bing Vehicle – Flop’s Car and Bing Talking Soft Toy.
Flop’s car is an attractive coloured car in red with purple seats. The box comes with a car and figures of Bing and Flop. It doesn’t move on it’s own so a child has to push it to play with it, which is great for motor skills. To manouvre Bing and Flop into the car also takes some amount of using one’s motor skills.
The Bing Talking Soft toy is a great size for little ones. It is similar to the character on telly and is a black bunny in an orange overall. It has big embroidered eyes. If you press Bing’s tummy, it says some phrases like ‘Hi, I’m Bing – shall we play Boo?’ so it involves a lot of interaction and can keep a little one entertained for quite some time. Bing also asks ‘what’s your name?’ which is great for teaching a toddler to respond to questions.
My little one quite liked the toys and she uses them in imaginative play with other characters and in different situations.
I think the toys are suited for toddlers and pre-schoolers and would probably not be suitable for older children as they are geared towards younger children.
They are lovely toys and have the Fisher Price quality that everyone loves.
Reasonably priced, these toys are perfect for Bing fans.
