The Doc is in…
We love Doc as you definitely know by now. She is a great help fixing toys around the house with her trusty helper Aeryn.
This time we were sent the Doc McStuffins Specialist Doctor Dottie Doll.
Going to the dentist can be a daunting task, for anyone but more so for little ones. I know my younger too are not really happy to visit the dentist. It’s probably being made to lie back, having a light shone on your face and some peering in very closely into your open mouth. Yep -that sounds a bit frightening.
But with the help of our new doll with Doc as a dentist from Flair, I think going to the dentist is going to be a breeze.
The doll is a good 30cm which is a lovely size for a young child – neither too big nor too small. I love the attention to detail – the freckles and the sparkly shoes.
The doll comes with a 12 cm Hallie figure, toothbrush, toothpaste, pincers and a comb.
You can brush Hallie’s teeth and also use the pincers to see her tooth magically disappear so children can pretend to remove her teeth.
Doc is dressed as a dentist and has a stethescope around her neck. Here’s where my older daughter questioned why she has a stethescope as dentists don’t normally have one. I think, though the stethescope is reflective of the Doc McStuffins image, it is not required here.
Although, having said that, my little girl loves pretending that Doc is checking her patients heartbeat and breathing.
I like that Flair is expanding the Doc range and this one is especially helpful in getting children familiar and talking about dentists to make an actual visit easier.
Aeryn loves her doll and spends a lot of time with it. Priced at £29.99, it is a lovely product with the accessories making it even better. It is of the great quality that one has come to rely on from Flair and though my little one has been a bit rough in handling, it has withstood it well. Doc looks lovely as usual.
In fact at our recent Twitter party, the guests were thrilled to play with Doc.
