We are quite hooked on Doc McStuffins here and we never refuse an opportunity to review toys from the collection. If you don’t know – Doc MCStuffins is about Dottie ‘Doc’ McStuffins, a six year old girl, ‘fixes’ toys, with a little help from her stuffed animal friends, Stuffy, Hallie, Lambie and Chilly.
We received this lovely little Doc McStuffins Eye Doctor Bag from Flair and Aeryn was most thrilled.
The Eye Doctor Set comes with the following –
- 1 doctor’s bag
- 3 pairs of play glasses
- 1 eye drops bottle
- 1 ophthalmoscope
- 1 eye patch
- 1 head torch
The handy bag is sparkly and very appealing as it is similar to the one that Doc has on the television series.
The play glasses are different shapes – star shaped, heart shaped and circle shaped and they all look lovely.
I love the little eye patch too.
The head torch lights up making it so much more fun and it is adjustable so it can fit properly and doesn’t fall off. It does feel a big tight but Aeryn said it doesn’t hurt her so its all good.
Personally, I think sets like these are so much more than toys. For Aeryn, I was able to tell her about eyes and how we need to take care of them as well as tell her that people put eye drops when they have itchy eyes and infections. I know that when Ethan had conjunctivitis, he was petrified of drops in his eyes. This set is great for getting them acquainted with eye care through play.
It is meant for children aged 3+ and I think this is the perfect age as they love dressing up and role play at this age.
The set is priced at £19.99 and I think this is value for money as the toys are of a great quality. It is available at Amazon
