I had heard of Club Penguin but the children had never tried it. I know that many children are hooked on it so when I was offered the opportunity to review Club Penguin, I was quite happy to accept.
Club Penguin as you may know is a game from Disney that is played online either via a website or an App.
The children enjoy playing this as you can create your own penguin, name it, dress it and build an igloo for it. You can also decorate the igloo as you like buy ‘buying’ furniture with the coins you collect.
To earn coins you play mini games and this can be quite addictive. Yes, I speak through experience. I do have to try out games my kids play – again and again!
There is a free version and a paid version with the paid obviously having more features but I am told that the free version is also fun.
What I love about Club Penguin is that they have made it really safe for children to be online. With the recent developments of children being unsafe online, I do like having the peace of mind that my children are safe when playing online.
Here are some of the safety features that have been released by Club Penguin.
Disclaimer: I was sent a 1 month membership of Club Penguin to try out. All ideas and opinions are my own.
