Deluxe Scent Lab from Interplay – Review

Jadyn enjoys Science but when it’s combined with creating perfume, her enjoyment is greater.

We were sent the Deluxe Scent Lab from Interplay to review.

The set contains –

  •  9 fragrances
  •  9 Plastic Pipettes
  •  8  Perfume Bottles with Gold Tops
  •  2 Spray Diffusers
  •  6 Diffuser Reeds
  •  2 Gift Boxes
  •  3 Gift Tags & Ribbons
  •  1  PVC Gloves
  •  1 x Sheet of Perfume Tester Strips
  •  Labels
  •  Instruction and activity booklet

The kit teaches a little bit about perfume blending so it’s not just about putting a combination of fragrances together.

Jadyn couldn’t wait to get started and she used musk, pink flower and fruit for her first perfume and I must say it did smell rather nice.

She tried a few other combinations and each time we tested them with the strips that are really handy.

We liked that there were some rather nice looking perfume bottles to capture the perfume and present someone with it. Also a great idea are the diffuser reeds that Jadyn used to make me some fragrance for the hallway.

There was also a chart showing fragrance personalities which Jadyn quite enjoyed looking up and trying to create a perfume for people she knew to match their personality.

This is part of the Fab Lab Range from Interplay and is priced at £19.99 It is a great gift for children aged 8 and over and we would definitely recommend it. Jadyn is enjoying mixing up fragrances and creating her own unique blend.
