There is no doubt that Mums are special and need to be celebrated. Which is why Mother’s Day is a special day for Mums. As a daughter, I would always try and make the day special for my Mum. She never demanded and always appreciated the thought behind the present. I miss being able to celebrate Mother’s Day with her. I miss her.
I now celebrate Mother’s Day as a mother and I love it when the children give me their hand made cards – it shows they care.
As a Mum, I have a million memories and I would love to have them all documented in pictures but that would mean having a room filled with pictures and albums and the like.
I was invited by TruPrint to create some memories and I thought of having something different done.
I got the children’s handprints on a sheet of paper. They look adorable.
I then got them made into key chains – an everlasting memory. What better keepsake to have but to hold their hands in mine?
I had to go conventional too and I prepared a lovely Photobook for my mother-in-law filled with pictures of the grandchildren.
And this is one for me – a lovely acrylic picture of the children. Small enough to keep on the desk.
Truprint has also launced their Mum in a Million campaign where they would like to make a million mums smile by giving away 1 million personalised Mother’s Day cards. As one of my readers, you can use the code MUMINAMILLION to claim your free card at check out.
