I can’t believe we are well into March. Hopefully the weather is going to get better and we shall soon be slurping smoothies and slushies! Well, to be honest, we already are.
I had reviewed a Chill Factor Slushy Maker last year but I got a chance to review another this year and I quite like the change in design.
The products are out in new attractive colours and have a cool image on the front.
The slushy maker works so –
Remove the lid of the slushy maker and place it in the freezer (preferably upright) Although, I have placed it horizontal too (for lack of space) and it has worked.
Allow 4 -6 hours and you should see that the walls are frozen.
Pour in your drink -it can be juice, smoothie or a milk shake.
Screw the lid on and start squeezing and you should have a lovely slushy in about a minute. You will see the sides getting icy in about 2 – 3 squeezes.
The children love this. They don’t think it’s necessary to wait until summer for the slushy.
It is super easy to make and the handy spoon/straw helps to either spoon it in or slurp it up.
I think it is better to keep the slushy maker in the freezer overnight to ensure that the walls are perfectly frozen.
You can only make one per freeze so if you have more than one child at home, you’d need to get one for each of them.
Priced at £12.99, these are perfect for the summer.
