Celebrating #StarWarsDay the Disney Way

To celebrate Star Wars Day on “May the 4th” (#starwarsday), the global fan-driven celebration of all things Star Wars, Disney Store will host a number of exciting in-store events and activities for families and fans to enjoy over the bank holiday weekend.

 On Monday, May 4th, fans will have the chance to meet  actor Jeremy Bulloch, who plays Boba Fett in the Star Wars films, at Disney Store, Oxford Street, London, between the hours of 12:00pm and 3:30pm(*). Guests at Disney Store, Oxford Street, London, can also take their picture with the amazing likeness of Jedi Master Yoda, before the figure appears at the new Star Wars experience at Madame Tussauds London, which opens on Saturday, May 16th.

At Disney Stores across the UK from May 2nd-4th, guests of all ages can take part in the free ‘Ways of the Force’ (#waysoftheforce) activity and learn some of the skills of the Jedi, including how to use a lightsaber. A Stormtrooper mask and medal will be given to each guest upon completion of the Jedi training.

As part of the Star Wars celebrations, guests can take part in Disney Store’s “Return of the Jedi” collector cards activity. With 12 cards to collect, Disney Store will release sets of three each week for four weeks beginning Thursday, April 30th.  Each Friday during the four weeks, a ‘code phrase’ will be released on the Disney Store UK Facebook page and guests can use this in store to collect the cards for that week.

New Star Wars products will also be introduced to the current range, including a selection of mugs and t-shirts featuring fun character artwork. Visit Disney Store onlinewww.disneystore.co.uk/starwars for further information on the full collection.
