On the 2nd of August we were invited to a very special event – National Doll Day. The girls were super excited. So was I.
This is an event that we’ll remember for a long time now because it was a lovely event with lots of dolls and at the Museum of Childhood too. It will also be remembered for me being a total klutz and landing up at the wrong venue. But that’s a different story.
That aside, we got to the right venue and we’re treated to a tour of the museum. We loved the trip down the ages as we saw what children played with in olden days.
I loved the costumes/clothes they wore.
Then it was time for a full blown doll takeover. There was a room full of dolls – small ones, big ones, crying ones and crawling ones. It was every little girls dream come true.
The children played dollies and we were treated to a delicious lunch.
I was quite taken with the new range of toys – I love dolls myself. There are some lovely accessories for Baby Annabell. We love the Baby Annabell Sheep Bed – it’s adorable.
The Interactive Baby Born Wonderland doll and unicorn was a huge favourite with the girls. We hope to get our hands on them.
And last but not the least, we just loved these Mini Chou Chou dolls. Each one comes with a fox and they are really cute. Priced at £7.99, they are good for a collection.
You are going to see a lot about Baby Annabell and Baby Born on my blog. Keep a look out for some posts to follow soon to find out why. 🙂
