Aeryn loves playing house so this set was very well received by her.
The Casdon Morphy Richards Kitchen set has everything a little one needs to have a contemporary kitchen.
The box contains –
- Coffee Maker,
- 2 cups and saucers,
- 2 plates
- Play food which consists of an egg, streaky bacon, 2 slices of bread and a sausage.
- 2 sets of cutlery – knives, forks and spoons
As you can see, there is pretty much everything that can make a really nice breakfast and get you through the day.
Aeryn has been enjoying playing with this and she makes coffee and tea and serves it out. I think with all the practice she is getting, I’ll soon be able to have a lie in while she makes breakfast!
The set is red in colour, similar to the popular Morphy Richards range. It is made of plastic but is durable and looks very stylish.
The set is ideal for role play and imaginative play and we do have quite a few tea parties. I have also been served breakfast in bed sometimes. 🙂
The toaster actually pops up – put the toast in, lower the lever and turn the knob and after a few seconds the toast pops out – never burnt! 🙂
You can fill the coffee maker with water and actually have it percolate into the jug below. The kettle has a level indicator.
The entire set it very realistic and it will provide hours of play. It is also great for hand to eye coordination and development of motor skills. Children can also learn cause and effect with the toaster popping up and the kettle filling with water.
Priced at about £17, it is good value for money and is ideal for little ones aged 3 and above.
