If you’ve been following my blog, you know how much we enjoy cooking together. We are also Annabel Karmel fans so receiving some products to help us in the kitchen was welcome.
You may have heard of Casdon, I have reviewed their Cleaning Trolley and their Coffee Playset. I was surprised to know that they also make products that can be used in the kitchen with children.
We received the following products from Casdon –
- Mini cupcake set with utensils
- Mini pizza set
- My perfect pastry set
We decided to take the easiest one to try out first so we used the mini cupcake set. The set comes with a tray to make 12 mini cupcakes and silicone cases. It also has a 2 spatulas and a brush.
We made some cupcakes and they are ideal for a doll’s tea party as they are little. The kids of course could not stop at one each so they weren’t around to decorate.
We did make some other cakes using the mixing bowl from the pastry set and made some other cakes which we did decorate.
The pizza set contains a cutter, a roller and a 23 cm pizza tray.
The perfect pastry set comes with plastic mixing bowl, whisk, cookie cutters, round sandwich tray, plastic measuring jug, roller and spatula. The bowl is great because it has a non-stick base which is great for not having spills.
We’ve yet to use the pizza set but I’m sure it will be just as fun as the others.
The Casdon Annabel Karmel baking range is lovely for children who like to cook and bake and it would also be great to get children interested in cooking and baking.
In fact, Jadyn has been using different pieces from the sets and has made some lovely pancakes for breakfast.
