Braid your own bracelets with Great Gizmos

If you notice, I have been doing a lot of crafting with Jadyn, all made easy with perfect sets that enable creativity. Jadyn loves making bracelets and has been making quite a few thanks to the bracelet kits that we have been reviewing. Of course, each one of them is different and so clever on its own. She has a lovely selection of bracelets now to match each outfit.

We were given an opportunity to review this woven bracelet set from Great Gizmos and since it was different to what we had reviewed previously, we were quite looking forward to creating another design.

This set involved creating a bracelet with links and thread and it was quite different to what we had done before.

The box contained two metal bracelets, thread in 7 different colours and two clasps. The instructions are quite clear and all you need to do is follow them to create the bracelets.

After you choose your colours and cut the required length, what you need to do is braid it along the length of one side of the links.

Though Jadyn wanted to use as many colours as she could, I think it would look better if one used just a few colours. It is also better if you contrast both the sides of the thread instead of using the same colours in both bunches of thread.

It is easy to get the thread knotted so you have to be a little careful while making the bracelets.

The quality of the products is really good and the metal bracelets feel pleasantly heavy and not light and cheap. It does look rather good on its own. Once completed, the bracelet looks quite pretty and different in a nice kind of way.

The set is suitable for children aged 8+ and I think this is just the right age as there is a certain amount of dexterity required to make the bracelet.

Priced at £9.95 I think this would make a lovely little gift for any little girl.

Disclaimer: I was sent the above set for review. All ideas and opinions are my own.
