Barbie Spin N Ride Pets – Review

The girls love their dolls and Barbie features quite often during their play. We’ve had an opportunity to review some rather lovely Barbie products and this was perfect for summer.

We received the Barbie Spin ‘n Ride to review. It’s Barbie on a cycle with two dogs (mum and pup) at her side but there’s more to it than just that.

Barbie ‘sits’ on the cycle with the help of an attachment on the bike that goes around her waist. Her feet also fit into the pedal.

When you push the bike along she moves her legs to a cycling rhythm.

You can attach the skateboard of the bigger dog onto the cycle and the smaller skateboard to the larger one. When you move the cycle forwards, the larger dog moves forward on the board while the smaller one’s skateboard moves round it.

It is quite a sweet product and replicates how puppies play and romp around larger dogs when walking.

Barbie comes dressed in a casual pair of trousers (plastic and cannotbe removed) and a floral top and remembering safety, she has a helmet on. Since she can be unattached from the cycle, you can play with her separately too.

I like that you don’t require batteries to play with the toy. The parts attach easily to each other.

The girls love this playset and play with it along with other Barbie dolls and sets. It is ideal for the summer as cycling brings that kind of image to mind.

We would recommend this set. I think it is ideal for little girls who are learning to cycle too as they tend to copy what their favourite person does. With Barbie being a popular figure, it could encourage more girls to cycle.

The product is well made as one expects and relies on from the house of Mattel. Perfect for imaginative play the set is priced at £24.99 and is good value for money.
