2 weeks ago I was invited to a preview the the Clarks Kids AW14 collection. Strange, till I received the invitation, I didn’t really feel how quickly the year has crept up on us.
Summer is not yet upon us but after seeing the collection, I am quite looking forward to autumn too. It is my favourite season and the shoes are really beautiful.
The AW14 collection of Clarks Kids features some trendy shoes that I know my children would love to sport.
I normally haul my children to Clarks because I believe that their shoes are perfect for little feet. Sometimes, however, the children find something they like but in the case of my eldest daughter who wears a size 3 at 9 years of age, we have been a bit disappointed as most of the shoes go up to a size 2 and a 1/2.
Now this new range comes in a size 3 and up and looks lovely. I quite liked the new sports shoes with lights that can be recharged through a USB connection. Quite technologically advanced.
To light up any child’s winter wardrobe, Clarks have developed a range of hi-top trainers called Megalights. Megalights do as their name suggests and a beam of light wraps around the sole for 360 degrees of brilliant fun. The light can be switched on and off, pulse or flash and the battery is rechargeable via a computer using the USB cable free with every pair. The key styles are Full Pulse for boys and Full Beam for girls.
I loved the little shoes with the animal print theme called Binkies – they are so cute and incorporate a loveable trio of bunnies, best friends and playmates.
There’s Elfin, who loves to dance; Poppi, whose favourite thing is sport and Vienna, who knows all about the latest fashions. From rabbit ears and footprints on the uppers to bunnies playing in patterns on the soles, character details are a feature of every pair and must-have styles include Nibbles Fluff in ultra-soft premium tan leather and Nibbles
Cute in anthracite.
I think the Mini Me collections are really sweet and are perfect for growing girls who like to walk in Mum’s shoes. My favourites are the Biddie Dress , the Kelpie Heidi and the Rhea Wish. They look really cool for young girls.
Jadyn insists she needs party shoes and boots and trainers and can’t wait for these to be online or in store. Looks like I am going to have to start saving big time!!
I loved this touch to the show –
Disclaimer: I was given a goody bag but was under no obligation to write a post. I just had to share this because the shoes are lovely. All ideas and opinions are my own.
