Anki Overdrive Speeds into Westfield

Consumer robotics and artificial intelligence company Anki is taking its hit battle-racing game Anki OVERDRIVE to four lucky cities around the UK this Summer.

Two eye-catching, custom-built tracks will be setting up home in Westfield London (White City) – giving local families the chance to get their pulses racing by playing two of Anki OVERDRIVE’s most iconic game modes, Battle and Race.

The former will see children and parents alike battle it out to be the first to win 5-points, while the latter will be all about being the first Anki Supercar to cross the finishing line after an enthralling 15-lap race.

The dedicated Anki team will be on hand to introduce the game to beginners and give them a hands-on trial before they enter into a challenge with another player.

Fans will also get to hear more about Supertrucks, a new addition to Anki OVERDRIVE, to be released in October.

And because it would not be complete without great prizes up for grabs, everyone who takes part in the event will have the chance to enter a free prize draw to win Argos vouchers (one to win per day per city). There will also be a raffle in each city, with one lucky player getting their hands on a fantastic Anki OVERDRIVE Family Bundle!*

The exciting battle-racing experience will be open to shoppers at the following times:

 Thurs 28th July                    10am – 10pm

Fri 29th July                         10am – 10pm

Sat 30th July                        10am – 10pm

Sun 31st July                       12pm – 6pm

*Family Bundle includes: Anki OVERDRIVE Starter Kit (4 straight pieces, 6 corner pieces, 2 cars, 3 accessories), Corner Kit (2 corner pieces), Speed Kit (2 straight pieces), Launch Kit, Thermo and Nuke.

We’ve had a sneak peek at it at home and I can tell you it’s absolutely amazing so if you’re in Westfield or planning on doing some shopping head over for an experience to remember.

  1. This looks awesome, I love how adaptable it is. i would love to make a massive track in our living room for my boys. I also love that you get all the updates for play for free. Thinking of it as a Christmas present for my boys.
